I'm Rhonda Gilley, a fine art painter and surface pattern designer based in Georgia. Through vibrant color and expressive brushwork, I capture the beauty of God's creation — landscapes, beaches, and florals that invite joy, peace, and connection into your home.
Art has always been part of my story. Born in a small rural town in North Carolina and living with a hearing impairment since birth, I discovered early that creativity was my clearest voice. At young age, while attending speech therapy, I began sharing my stories through drawing and color — a passion encouraged by my loving parents.
Painting is my way of meditating on the wonder of life. The relationship between color, God, family, and the beauty of nature inspire every piece I create. I work with oil, acrylic, gouache, and watercolor, letting color, texture, and intuition guide each brushstroke.
Capturing beautiful places through travel, photography is often where my process begins, but I let my heart — and the mood of the moment — shape what unfolds on canvas. There is deep joy when colors come into harmony — it makes me feel truly alive.
Through each painting, I hope to express something authentic and beautiful about this world God made, and to share His love and goodness with others.
